Tachometer Crapped out and Fuel cut issue...
I know they are not related but why have two threads. I searched around for the Fuel cut switch install but did not find satisfactory information. If someone has info and PICTURES on how to do this please post!
Tachometer crapped out. Started the car, tach came up.. then poof! It dropped back to the zero peg and never came back up... I think I may have blown a fuse or worse, not sure what may have caused it. HOWEVER
I would be able to trouble shoot this better if i had the fuse panel cap for the interior of the car that told me what fuse goes to what circuit... But the previous owner lost it, most likely when he was running 12v power directly from the fuse box (stick a wire under a fuse method, which i hate and want to slap anyone i see do that)... Anyone have a good pic of that?

THANKS in advance!!!!

If the Trail coil assy isn't working, then the tach does not work. Tach feeds off the Trail signal.
Fuse box covers are in the FAQ at the beginning of this site.
Sometimes if the car is jump started the ECU will cut the signal to the Trail coil assy. Sometimes if the alternator isn't putting out it'lll cut the trail coil assy signal. Real low battery might do the same. I made some of this up as I went along. humor
Anyway, it's not a fuse problem as far as the tach goes.
Fuel cut switch: SEARCH. ADVANCED SEARCH. Use FUEL CUT SWITCH and the name NZCONVERTIBLE.

Car runs like a champ... besides the hot start problem.. but yeah, runs fine thru all RPM and no cut out or any problems... so im assuming electrical..
Where exactly is the Tach feed from the engine bay?

I added to my FIRST POST ABOVE. The problem is from flooding. Either the plugs are fouled on the Trails or the ECU flat cut the signal. The output to the tach is off a blue/yellow wire at the trail coil assy. It is NOT the problem....the blue/yellow.
Start the car again and see if the tach isn't there now.
