Tach signal, and flooding Q.
Where does the Tach get its signal from? CAS? And does flooding affect that signal?
I'm asking because I have a GXL that floods, however whenever it floods the Tach simply stops moving. I can tell if it will flood or not the instant I start cranking it over by seeing if the Tach needle bounces or not.

Tach signal comes from a summed signal of the trailing coils.
Nothing to do with the leading coils...
chances are that if you have no tach, you have no trailing coils firing.
