I already have an intercooler, but its a cheapy that someone game me. Think I should just bite the bullet and get the greddy kit for $899 from rx7store.net?? It would look alot nicer than the one I got as well as it comes with the piping so I wouldn't have to worry about that. Anyone know if the piping comes with a flange to put a BOV on or do I still need the flange from racingbeat.com??

3. Mazdatrix.com T2 Throttle Cable #41-6600-FC17 $42.89
4. Mazdatrix.com Stock Turbo Pressure Plate #16-410C-N310 $137.23

7. Racingbeat.com Turbo Outlet Gasket #16319 $48.49
8. Racingbeat.com Down Pipe/Pre-Silencer Gasket #16318 2x $7.22

Do you have the cat-back already?

12. Racingbeat.com Blitz Blow Off Valve Universal Kit #18306 $205.00
13. Racingbeat.com Blitz Blow Mounting Flange-Aluminum #18308 $29.00

I bought a TII diff and drive shaft for less than you are going to pay for that custom driveshaft, and I don't think that the stock open diff will hold up to the TII power very long anyway. I say go for the full swap and don't take short cuts. If you do still want to keep the stock n/a diff, I have heard that others have been able to make the automatic driveshaft fit even though it is an inch or two too short.

The main reason I was going with the mazdatrix n/a to t2 shaft was because it had replaceable u-joints. I'll look for a used one, but I was trying to stay away from used if it can be helped. But saving $230 is good as well 8).

I will prolly get the stock clutch and p plate from trix anyways because I want that brand new. As far as the throttle cable I didn't ahve any lucky finding a used one, but I'll try again.

Yes, I already have RB cat back.

Blitz is crap: Check. Suggestions on another BOV? Cost, Link to website?

PMing YearsofDecay as we post.

I don't have an open diff. It's 88 GXL model so it should be a clutch type lsd unless I'm mistaken. As far as replacing the diff too. If I was going to throw down a t2 model, I would also have to get t2 axels.

Yeah your right, you will need the diff half shafts to put in the T2 diff. BTW, your GXL diff might be limited slip, but it's still alot weaker. If your going to use the stock clutch and P-plate you might ok, but I've had bad luck with them. I bought a stock T2 clutch for my conversion and even after breaking it in properly, it still slipped when shifting under power (12psi). My car is a convertible though, so I might have been the extra weight making it slip?

The NA rear end can be used if he isn't power dropping it everytime and doing 6k launches on Nittos. Alot of the turbo-na guys are using stock differentals well into 13's.

Just food for thought ;o!

Oh, and also I did a full s5 TII conversion on my 88 GXL. I made this painfully easy by going with a standalone EMS. If you have any questions with your swap or need an opinion etc. PM me.

I could use the money I'm spending to just buy a t2 car. But what is the fun in that? I learn nothing about the car. Also I know about everything that is in my car and don't have to worry about replacing parts randomly with a new vehicle. It's about reliabilty. And the only way to do that is to stick with what you got and make it kick ***.

Does you s4 chassis already have a lsd? If not why not just get a used t2 driveshaft, halfshafts, and lsd.

the s4 gxl does come with a clutch type lsd. If you are selling the t2 rear end and half shafts then throw them at me. If not, then I don't have a way of getting them so I gotta work with what I got. I live in friggin' ky, we got jack **** here.

I've made some modifications to the list and I'll be posting the revised list when I get home to see what you all think about it.

What do you all think about the Greddy intercooler kit on rx7store.net for 899.99? Is it worth the $900?

I was only asking about the diff because you never listed the model you had. Anyways even with the clutch pack lsd if you plan to make any good power plan on breaking some NA halfshafts

I broke a n/a half shaft with less that 200whp, but I would say that you will be fine if you drive conservitively ALL the time. But come on, what the point of having the power if you can't use it as you please?
