t2 starting problem
Okay, i've got a 90 t2 and it seems to want to flood when starting. I have to hold the throttle to the floor to get it to start. my radiator actually exploded due to the old plastic in the end tanks. when the radiator did go it blew coolant directly into the air intake, (i had to pour it out of my intercooler). While i was waiting for the radiator i decided to do the throttle body mod and it gave me a chance to clean out the intake and what not. I've replaced All the vaccume lines and quadruple checked that they are in the right spot. had the ingectors cleaned and tested, and i've checked the compression and got no less than 90 on all six sides. I havnt set the tps, and have no clue how to set the idle via the BAC. I'm wondering if the tps not being set or the AFM would cause this problem. The AFM did get pretty soaked could it have shorted out?. It ran a little rich before all this but always started well. It will idle after it gets warm but when i put it into gear it it will die. I'm lost, i dont know what to do first. anyone have any suggestions? thanks alot.
