symptoms of a bad starter???

I think my starter is going out. When I push in the clutch, and turn the key, nothing happens at all. I hear a very slight hum, but thats it. It takes a few trys to get her to crank over. Volt's on the dash guage show roughly 13-14.

mine did the same thing and my starter is now blown. first try checking the wires that go to the starter. they might just be disconnected or something. problem might not be the whole starter though. could just be the starter solenoid.
