Switch gears from 2nd to 3rd and RPM drops to 3k when I floor it
I have a 91 N/A... I searched and I suck at it so if this issue has been bp'd sorry
But anyways when I am in second and shift to third it feels like the motor goes to an idle when I floor it, It drops down to around 3k until I left off the accelerator and give it gas again what could be wrong??

sorry its a manual i shift at 8k, from second to third and when I give it gas nothing happens the rpms continue to drop to 3k and just sit there, they engine doesn't even rev when I give it gas. this only happens when I shift at a high rpm from second to third.

it feels like its not catching the gear but then i would assume it's still in neutral but when i give it gas it doesn't even rev it just feels like the motor is dying but it drops to 3k, then i have to shift out of third and shift back in or to another gear if I want the rpms to go higher than 3
sorry I forgot to make it clear that it wont go above 3k after it drops.

If you're shifting from 2nd to 3rd at 8000rpm, that would put you roughly around 60mph, give or take depending on differential ratio and tire size.
Also, if it is dropping revs like this, that sounds like a fuel/air issue. Check to make sure your aux ports are opening and working properly. Aux ports that are stuck closed means your engine (assuming stock N350 ecu) would want to flood out above 3000-3500rpm because there's more fuel in the mixture and not enough air (b/c the aux ports are closed). Fuel and Air needs grow exponentially the faster you go, in order to produce the necessary horsepower to overcome the increasing drag. If drag is "X", then your engine needs to produce horsepower "X squared". The formula is described in Top Gear's Veyron top speed video on youtube.
If my reasoning is correct, the first thing to check would be your spark plugs, specifically for carbon deposits and a fuel smell. Beyond that, look at your Aux ports. If they're stuck closed, now might be a good time to look at what else is going wrong with your engine and possibly plan for a rebuild and/or piggyback ecu to compensate for the overly rich mixture. In the meantime, have fun shooting flames
