swapping out the ecu

might be a dumb question, but ive searched and couldnt find anything.

does anyone have any pics or video of where the ecu might be? i could locate it on any other car ive had but not the 7, im guessing its somewhere around the passenger seat like any one car but im getting an rtek coming in and i want to be able to swap em out while doing the minimal tearing apart of my interior i can

:\

Found in the FSM or an obvious search of 'ECU location'. Might even be in the FAQ.

It's under the passenger side foot well. Remove the running board and kick panel cover. After pulling back the carpet, the ECU and ABS unit hide behind a metal panel around the area where the passenger's feet would be.
