the 13b came of a 87 and the internals came of a 85
should i have eny problems taking out my s5 engine
and putting this one in one that came out of a 87?
do i have to modify enything?
im getting the engine for 600 buckz

What 12A internals are you talking about. They can't be anything on the rotors cause the 12A's are different than the 13B's in size. So nothing like the apex seals or pretty much any seal came out of the 12A...Maybe the 1985 internals are from the GSL-SE engine which was a 13B. Your stock S5 NA engine put down 160 from factory and I'm thinking a stock S4 street port might do the same. The S5 engines were lighter on the inside for one thing and the S4 engine will have heavier internals. So its a tough call. If you put everything on you S5 NA on this S4 NA you might see 165hp but no real improvements. Oh this engine will get worse gas mileage though because of the street port... it might be worth it if the engine you're getting has very low mileage. Well I don't know if its a good deal or not.

im not sure he said it has 12a internals
i guezz they might be of a gsl-se
i dont really care too much about the power or the gas
i just need to replace the blown one of my s5...
but i just need to know if u would need to do eny modifications
to my vert..
or can i just drop the engine from the 87 strait in???
