I am having a similar problem where my 87 FC NA starts for about 2-10sec and then stalls. If you try stepping on the gas pedal then it chokes and stalls immediately. I have tried jumping the fuel check connector and it does the same thing.

Everything is plugged in except a single plug which is grey and black and white. I thought about it cause the engine idled at 1400 rpm and right now it idles about 900. So when I get home I'm goin to tighten the Throttle cable and see if the hand hand held display box with read and display so I can load the tuned map. I hope that is the problem so I'll keep ya'll posted!!!

I got it started and running! I pulled the N/A harness out my trunk. So while compared it, I realized I didn't pull the wires from the connectors to start the engine like I had to on the S5 swap. unplugged them then shorted the low impedance plug. She fired up and now idles at 3100 RPM. Tomorrow night when I get home I have to loosin the throttle cable which I did and lower the idle. Waiting for my Manifold to come in the mail any day now then I have to find a External Waste gate flange and dump pipe for my HKS 40mm HKS Waste gate so I can get a 3" down pipe made with the dump pipe into the exhaust. I dont want flames into the engine bay!!!
