Suspension
How much should I be looking to spend to buy a decent set of springs and shock/struts for a 86 base? Any websites would be appreciated too

totalimmortal, what kind of shocks/springs are you looking to get, more performance or OEM replacements? www.rx7store.net
KYB GR-2 are essentially OEM replacement shocks.
Tokico HPS (Blues) are mild performance shocks.
KYB AGXs are the cheaper adjustable performance shocks.
Tokico Illuminas are a bit more expensive than the AGXs adjustable performance shocks and come with a lifetime warrenty.
Koni Yellows are more expensive adjustable performance shocks.
Performance between the AGXs, Illuminas, Yellows is up for some debate, but I think the concensous is that the Konis are the best performers.
Springs:
Racing beat - Suppose to be the most performance oriented.
Suspension Techniques - Somewhat performance oriented.
Eibach Pro Kit - Progressive springs - Suppose to be softer than performance options over small bumps, harder when they take a higher load. People seem to like them for daily driving, but racers tend to avoid progressive rate springs.
