i actually kinda want to supercharge my car now, Tech_Greek. it sounds like you installed everything right and didnt cut any corners, and for that you havent had any real problems. i think its a great idea to do somthing that thousands of people havent already done. too bad you sold your 7.
but thanks for the inspiration Tech_Greek

Ok, to settle the charger argument...

I starved it of oil, our 'ghetto' install the first time around meant no hose clamps on the oil feed, it popped off the next morning and I didn't notice it until the damn thing sprayed oil on my windshield...too late.

It was not Camdens fault, it was my fault for not putting a hose clamp on it while you were here SonicRAT

And believe it or not, this Thunderbird's pretty fast...but if I cared what ya'll thought I'd be driving around in a TII right now broke down on the side of a road - my old Thunderbird never left me stranded, the RX7 that's another story (when N/A).

If it were the oil starving, it wouldn't have happened to 4 other chargers using the same pulley. Also, it would've died at the time, not after the proper hose was installed and quite a while later.

I know a guy with a 7 who said he was making 250 to the flywheel (probably around there, it was quick as all hell). His **** was pro installed though, cleanest engine bay ive ever seen on an Rx7....Then his Camdem charger and motor went out...Sad really, Camdem is replacing the charger with a better one and hes selling it..lol

You're saying Atkins doesn't know how to "professionally install" their own kits? Because I drove one that they did the whole install on.

[QUOTEYou have never seen my convos, and that's wrong if you're going through my PM's on here...I've never said Rotarys suck, or how terrible they are, they have design flaws that need to be fixed nuff' said.[/QUOTE]

Not going through your PM's kiddo, I can't even do that only admins can. A couple people have copy/pasted conversations to me on AIM they've had with you through PM, AIM, and MSN messenger.

The reason I'm selling the car is because I have at least one fucktard like you IM'img me a day telling me what my car will never be, and that it's crap, blahblah...exactly the opposite of what I knew of the Rotary Community when I first joined it two years ago...face it every sane person who drives an RX7 throws a flaming X on this club to keep away from it as it's filled with so many ignorant inknowledable people who flame people who give the right advice...
Fucktard? I never said what your car can and cannot do, in fact I said if you like it good for you. You just have no proof and throw around a lot of big talk is all. Seriously dude if you don't like people saying stuff, ignore it! Don't talk about your mods, leave rx7club, block people on AIM/MSN messenger/etc and just forget about them. It's very simple, I do it all the time!

The Camden Supercharger is great for a daily driver - point blank...I'm not going to answer any more replies to this thread.
Good for you, isn't that all you should care about? Leave the "rotary community" if you hate it so much and just enjoy *YOUR* car.

No, trust me, the car ran for a good five seconds without an oil being fed to the Supercharger, so take that into consideration and the fact the rotors inside of it are so tightly put together...

And there are a bunch of other Camden owners running smaller pulleys than what I was running, the fact that It didnt have enough fuel made a big difference too...

Another smart *** remark of you badmouthing rx7's and rotaries

It's that kind of stuff I've seen you say to many many people through various communications.

Anyways, we've gone way off topic, anything else can be handled through PM's if people care.

To the original thread starter, you should really do a search, there's been lots of discussion about this stuff. However most of the threads end up like this.
