Stay away from roots type superchargers, they are very thermally inefficiant. If you are going to supercharge, stay away from centrifugal, as they behave similarly to turbos, and a turbo setup can usually be had for less. That means twin screw superchargers. The camden/atkins rotary kits are not designed for FI engines, but they do come as a kit for the Rex. The whipple units will work with FI engines, but you have to either design and fabricate all the mounting hardware and ducting yourself, or find someone who has done it and pay them to do it for you.

Youre contradicting yourself. The whipple sc is nearly the same as the eaton. Both are modified roots blowers. Roots blowers have straight vanes, while the whipple and eaton have them twisted, which increases efficiency by a good bit. It also makes the sc's have a better top end, lower outlet temps, higher VE, lower parasitic losses, etc.
