Super Duper Boost Creep
So yea. S5 turbo block. S4 NA Rotors. Stock S5 Turbo w/ ported waste gate. Stock Top mount. 3" single exhaust. No silly cats. Standalone with fuel to spare. 15psi boost creep!!!! in 90deg weather...
how is this thing still alive? lol. The thing is ridiculously quick for what it is. And I know the obvious answer is to man up and buy a real turbo... and a real wastegate.
My question to you is... what would you do in the meantime? park it... take it easy... beat the pi$$ out of it and enjoy it?

well its fixed. and terribly slow now. The story is i put exhaust on it, then pulled the manifolds off to seal them up better and to fix some boost leaks... put it all back together and it was much slower than before... then a couple days later the car started getting quicker and quicker.. when it started hitting 11lbs i attributed it to boost creep. when it started hitting 15lbs i got worried and started looking around. turns out the the nipple from the front of the stock compressor that goes to the wastegate blew out of the compressor housing. the car was running with no wastegate. :/
Anyway it now holds 7 lbs.. and is terribly slow. It was pretty quick at 15lbs and high compression rotors tho, too bad I didnt iphone dyno it :/

You can't mess with the ECU in it's stock configuration. You either need to get a piggy back fuel controller like an apexi SAFC, or get a chip in it so you can tune it like the Rtek system. Or you can go with a stand alone ECU. Then you can add more fuel since you're getting more boost (more air.)
