sunroof doesnet close all the way

hey guys,

i just searched sunroof and it didnt have any answers to my specific question.

i have no problems opening my sunroof, and it'll close somewhat.. in other words, it'll reach near the end, but it still sticks up. it wont become flush and just... sticks up.

i've tried using the manual crank to close it, and it's at its end point and wont turn no more.. and my sunroof is still UP.

any tips/suggestions would be great!

thanks guys

Try to open the sunroof completely and then close it using the button and with your hand pull if physically while pushing the button to make it close. This is only a temporary method but it will keep the rain out.

I just replaced my sunroof assembly, kept the actual sunroof panel, and it doesn't fit right now. Did the sunroof just start doing that or has it always been like that? Maybe, try greasing it up.

i've tried using physical force while closing it - sure it speeds it up, but it still doesnt close so it's flush with the roof line!

and this problem actually happened before, but it magically disappeared 10minutes after my friend and i were pushing on it..

no cigar right now

no no no....

Manually close it. There is a screw in the back of your car.. a little ways from the sun roof. Undo the botton... and take a wrench (the small one.. err I don't remember the name) and close it. It's hard to do, and ya gotta be strong to do it. That'll fix your problem.
