Suddenly. -VERY CONCERNED!!?!?!

I was reading around today, and people say that they stiffen the pedal up to make the clutch grab more. My clutch pedal is Very very soft. Does this mean that the clutch has more tendencies to slip? If so, how do i make the pedal stiffer? I have blead the system once. I'm not going to drive the car until i hear back from someone! I dont think the clutch is ever slipping, never smell clutch smoke either...

And i can squeel the tires alright. I really hope i didn't burn out the clutch. BTW the car is fine....Just askin!

Thanks!!!

thanks, but does it mean with a soft pedal, the clutch is not gripping very hard?

Thanks!

mm ive driven an FC with a very soft pedal, and it the clutch seems to grip just as hard as my GTU, even though my pedal pushes harder.

what happens when you try hard launches? can you feel it slipping alot at start and between shifts?

Clutch Pedal's stiffness depends on the type of pressure plate you have. If the clutch you have feels too soft it might mean that the clutch line is going bad, they made of rubber so over time they tend to expand and make you clutch feel "spongy." Or your Clutch Cylinder could be bad but I doubt that is the problem if you are still able to shift.
