Stuck bolts!

whats the best way to remove stuck-rusted on -bolts?
Whos using what to get the job done. did a search couldnt find any products.

WD-40 or other penetrants and a breaker bar.

blue tip wrench ALWAYS works.. soak the area in a penetrating fluid first.. if that fails, like it's too near plastic or it's a steel bolt in an aluminum part, then get a cobalt bit with an offset tip start a hole down the center of the bolt, then use a helicoil or retap kit to do the rest.. I've got @ 12 bolt holes on the FC done that way

PB spray owns! I think its called PB Penatrating Catalyst or something along those lines, but that stuff works miracles.

Heat can also be used in certain cases with relative sucess.

thanks but i think it was the heat that put these suckers into "weld-mode". i want to try WD-40, but i hear that stuff smokes like crazy when you use it on exhaust componets.

it will only smoke for a lil while till it burns off.. wont be that bad... pb blaster prolly works better than wd40, as thats more what its made for... but wd is good stuff as well

and breaker bars are your friend
