Exclamation Stuck...

I am in a bit of a scramble. I bought an 88-91 T2 motor and did a compression check. Rear rotor reads around 70-80 on faces, and front rotor huvers at around 25-30. SO compression is low on front rotor.
Now I have a 30 day start up warrenty on this motor, I can either send it back and look for a T2 motor that is in better condition, or have this one rebuilt. What should I do? I am in ottawa and ordered the motor from Osaka, (big stupid learnt mistake). Got it for 700...I would just like to know if its worth rebuilding. Got the tranny. I bought Ecu and wring harness for 200 seperatly.

I would like to know where I can get the motor rebuilt with care and done properly and how much. Money is a huge issue but not giving up on this car. If any places you know that will complete a rebuild for a good price, it would help.

Thanks
Nick

Common on Jspecs.

Compression is not just low on the front, but also the rear. Mazda spec is 85 psi as lowest possible compression on a rotor face.

Shipping it off to Kevin at Rotary Resurrection is probably your best bet for getting it rebuilt, and keeping your costs down.
