Strut Bars

Hey i was wondering when looking for front strut bars...what should you look for. I found a brand new aluminum polished front strut bar (JDM Style) with CUSCO blue brackets for 50bucks. Would this be a good steal? Thanks in advance.

No, sturt bars are sturt bars... As long as you have something reinforcing the the chassis, so it doesn't twist you'll be good to go.

JDM Style?

Our end brackets are very similar to CUSCO's who makes the other bar?

This is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...ayphotohosting

people have said that these types of bars block the oil cap, which makes it hard to remove the cover and people's opinion of strut bars like these are not a good buy. Comment anyone? pretty cheap though.

Beleive or not, alot of those actually DON'T WORK. They don't tighten up correctly and they can flex. People sometimes say they work but thats a mental thing, like saying a e-fan adds 50hp.

My favorite and reasonably priced strut bar is: http://www.corksport.com. They're fully functional and work great!

If you want something that 'might' work. Try a ractive strut bar, its $30 bucks and at least has somewhat a name behind it.

For that price, you can almost get the CP Racing strut bar which also triangulates against the firewall. And since you're in Ontario, CP Racing is local do you.

Thanks for the props!

The one in that picture actually is a ractive one believe it or not. I would say 99% of those guys on ebay use ractive, they coat their end brackets every color of the rainbow. They are DIRT cheap if you buy em in high enough quantities.
