strong rear brakes

I have the 4 psiton calipers in front and the vented rears. I took my car autocrossing the other day and i noticed that the rear brakes seemed very strong. So much so i can get rear wheel hop on braking (this only happend once, cant get it to do it again). Are the rear brakes just really stong on our cars? I am running a different compound pad in front, and i know that can add to it. But it just seem are rear brakes are just strong.

Yeah, the brakes are pretty good, but it is most probably because you are running different compound brake pads. What are they?

P.S. You're in Joliet? I was there on friday! We were going to the US Grand Prix in Indianapolis, and stopped in Joliet on the way to see the NHRA event. Nice complex there.

Yep strong *** brakes! Just think...the Nissan 300ZX TT only comes with 2 piston calipers up front...and the FC3S NA '86 comes with 4 piston up front...now those are serious brakes (both have single piston sliding rears).
