Pull it, but don't sell or throw away the interior parts until you decide if you like it or not. I personally prefer a full interior...
You could always just remove the SDG and undercarpet felt then replace the carpet for a lightened car AND a semi-comfy interior.

Take it all out, at the drag strip, take a 100 pounds out that equals a tenth of second. One day my 86 is going to look like this.

The word of the day is......
STRIP
Every time someone says "strip", scream real loud!
riiiight, so that's my plan. Since I don't have a good car scale I'll weigh each thing as i remove them. Thanks guys.

when i first got my fc i could'nt stand the noise....rattles , squeeks. after an hour with a screw driver and a ratchet the cars makes no noise.
it can be done check everything that moves or has a joint or bolt , nut , screw rubber mounts need checking also. the dash is a big culpurt for noise.
but if you want to strip then go for it. i don't regrete doing mine and it's only halfway done.
once you strip you can buy some stuff that drag racers use thats lighter and looks ok . it will hide all the holes in the inside of the car. basically you just make new inside panels with the light weight sound deading stuff.
good luck

Strip it and line it with dynomat and some thin carpet. Might be more money, but you'll get the same reduction of weight minus a few pounds and still keep some kind of noise reduction.
