Strange thunking noise

I've been going all through my recently acquired, neglected 86 N/A. I drove it a couple days ago and I noticed that one of the rear breaks was locked to the rotor so I replaced everything. Well I drove it afterward and noticed the sound some more. It's a continous thumping sound coming from the rear end. I can't feel any vibration from the sound so I don't think it's an out of round tire. Could this be a bad U-joint? I've noticed some play in the driveshaft. Any ideas?

this noise happens pretty much the whole time I'm driving. IIRC it is mainly with power on...or during acceleration and cruising. I'll check out that mount and see what happens. any other ideas, let me know...thanks

Rear bearing(s)? That kind of "thumping" sound?
