Stopping the water pump belt from slipping

I removed the airpump, and I have read that there is a good chance the waterpump belt will slip at higher RPM. Of course I do not want this to happen. I have read the write up on 1300cc.com, but I still do not quite understand it.

I went to my autoparts store and they did not know what the hell I was talking about when I asked for a 3L220 belt that is 3/8" thick and 22" long.

So I am thinking the better thing would be to run the dual alternator pulley. Now I cannot find a write up on how to do this. Is there anyone that can show me pictures, or point me to a write up.

Or have you used another belt besides the 3L220 belt that works?

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to put this all back together tomorrow.

Note: I would like to keep this as low cost as possible, thats why I was hoping for the 3L220 belt, I do not want to buy an entirely new alternator pulley.
