You also have to factor in total frontal area, which gives an edge to the smaller-nosed RX-7.

For these sakes, anyway, since the frontal area does not change among FC's, we are using Cd for comparison purposes only.

Nope thats not it, very close but it doesn't go all the way around, the back part looks right, it must have been aftermarket, kind of a cross between sport and gtu style

Now that we are into the Cd thingie.:
Does anyone know if someone has made replicas of the Aeropackage frontlip and "wheeldiffusers"

I lost mine due to rust in the mounting brackets
They are the ones infront of the rearwheels and fromtwheels, like on Santiagos pic.

Question to the guys with S5 spoilers...

How many bolts are there for attachment on the car?

Just my opinion but having used both types of spoilers on RX-7's in the past, the sport one has a cleaner more subdued flair to it. The turboII spoiler seems a little too busy.........

I will probably have to go with a sport because the one that was on my car was an aftermarket on as far as i can tell, and so far nobody can figure out what kind it could have been.

Still wondering bout this spoiler thing nobody has shown me anyhting close to what marks were left by the spoiler, on the back it went down low enough to go around the brakelight an on the side it goes all the way back to where the hatch begins to curve up?

are you sure about how low the spoiler goes down the back of the car? there should be some paint fading diffrences where the spoiler was and was not.

I just did a swap last week from the TII spoiler to the sport one and their are 4 mounting holes on the back for the sport spoiler exactly like what you pictured and in the same spots. The holes are also located on the back side of the sport spoiler as opposed to the top on the TII. I would be willing to bet its a sport spoiler that was on their! Also their are 8 mounting holes for the TII spoiler. "Notice I said mounting holes, not bolt holes"!

woah, its a sport style that goes up to the curve of the hatch.
your mounting holes are too high for the regular sport (i have mine off right now, and i can look outside and see)
wait! my spoiler is sitting right next to me
and yeah
i was right
the bolts in my spoiler are down 3/4 of the light fixture, and the holes on your car are above the fixture. youre def/ not running a regular sport one.

Ahaha, I didn't know they made rear window shades for the FCs, lol. I really like that sport spoiler over the T2 variety though, it definatly has that Porsche thing going for it.

SOIA, I don't think the one in that pic is what you had. The one in the pic looks like mine and it mounts on the top
