STOCK S5 NA 1/8 mile times.

only reason i am making this post is cause i always see 1/4 mile times high 15's low 16's with the stock/mildly modified NA's but really dont ever see any 1/8 mile times.

i have the 16x8" FD wheels with some nice new 225/50 kumho 711's on the back and can launch pretty hard.
I will probably also be using my friends RacingBeat catback exhaust/straightpipe for this weekend (if we do this we'd also be gutting my precats)

My friend has a stock integra LS that ran 10.3 @ 69 with like a 2.6 60' (he sucks at teh launch) and he keeps telling me how much faster his car is than mine, but i really dont think his is much faster. he pulled like one car one me from 60-110 on the highway.

so i think we're gonna run em at the track this weekend. yall think i can take him? (in my all mighty NA w/nice wider tires/catback-no cat exhaust)

You should be beating Integra LS left and right, unless they have NOS, and\or Turbo! I know by experience

You might be able to beat that integra, but I wouldnt be suprised if you dont. And with a 10.3 with a 2.6 60 ft time, that car definately isnt stock. If he could knock that 60 ft down down to 2.1-2.2, thats prelude vtec territory.

Stock N/As have got 10.2s in the 1/8th for the last couple years since Ive been going down to the strip. I see some get 10.4-10.7 but some 10.2s and Nick can back me up.

I got a 9.8 with a 2.2 60ft and letting off the gas 3 times off and on to get the glazed clutch to grab.

i think his 60-ft was 2.3 or 2.4 he was probably just trying to sound fast. 2.6 60ft with that ET would need more power than a stock LS can make.

That was my point. Did you see where I said his car wasnt stock if it was pulling those times?

The last time I went to the track, I had crappy tires, open diff, and my car wasnt running perfect(hesitation at redline), and I ran a 9.9@ 73.x mph with a 2.4 60 ft. I need to get out to the track with my current setup.

BTW, if he pulled on you on the highway, you will lose from a stop or a slow roll, unless you can launch the hell out of your car. RX7's, even the n/a's are their best on the highway. And for some reason, with stock ports, 2nd gear sucks *****, and 1st is almost as bad. 3rd is where the car really shines.

Humm, you should walk the dog on him I would think...my S4 NA runs low 9s in the 1/8th with 2.1-2.0 '60 foots, thats with my sumitomo's...they blow, i hate them, I launch so much better on the street with them than on the track. I am getting a set of ET Streets...the absolute BEST DOT drag tires, I SHOULD hit some 1.8xxx '60s with those...would like to get into the 8's with the tires, and a few other small things, I am switching to solid motor mounts, and have a little bit more to lighten up on.

i got an intake and we're making some autozone cheapass straight exhaust catback and gutting the cats.
you think i could hit low 10's with a straight catback (and no muffler) and my new intake?
i'm tryin to find out what i should be expecting at the track this weekend.

also, above, i have another friend that runs 10.4's (integra LS with intake) and he walks away around 70mph when i'm at the top of second and shift into third. he does this and i have a cone intake and stock shitty *** exhaust.

Hey Cartmilk,

My 1/8 mile time on a 15.1 run was 9.9...

15.2 was 10.0

Just for reference.
