stock oil pressure guage problem
ok, so this is bothering me..
the oil pressure sender is hooked up to the right connector, but does not work. I tryed grounding out the wire (just for a second!) and the guage did not jump, so it could be broken it's self..
BUT!, there is a second yellow wire that is hanging out of the harness that is cut but it is so close to the sender wire, that it looks like it belongs but it's either broken or cut.
so, does this wire have anything to do with it? I can take a picture of what i'm talking about if that makes it easier to understand what I'm trying to say :P

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
The second wire (same color) plugs into the condensor that is mounted near or at the clutch slave. The condensor is a small (1"x1"x1/4") plastic box with a metal tab that is grounded and a single wire.
The condensor keeps the gauge from blowing out in the event of a short. Its possible that if your's is unplugged, that if the sender went out, it would have taken the oil presssure gauge with it.

yah I'm sure the guage just does not work
ok, i got the solution.. i just picked up a Autometer electronic oil pressure guage, I also have the autometer sending unit, what size adapter do I need in order for it to thread into the block, and where do I get it, searching did not give me the answer to the size i needed.
