starting problems please help

i got a 87 TII and for some reason it wont start. you can pop start it and it will fun fine but wont start. and i checked the plugs and they ate jet black. anybody know what do to? please help. thanks

Need more info- is she cranking over or not? Is the starter doing its thing, or not? Does it sound "funny" when cranking? Is the battery fully charged?

Try cleaning the plugs first...

maybe ignition, starter, anything....like wayne said more info.... and ya if the plug ends are dirty what so ever clean them...

it turns over fine i cleaned the plugs and didnt help, it dont make any noises weired it just wont like get going. it rins fine if we pop start it...

Mine takes a while to start too but i dont have to pop it. I guess since its a rotary motor it takes about 6 secs to start

Healthy engine should start within 2 seconds, hot or cold...
