i just recently had a problem where my car was doing the exact same thing. if i let it cool off completely it would start up just fine. it was my starter solenoid. it had gotten fried a bit when my car was leaking a little coolant and it had run down on the the solenoid/starter. swapped the hoses and threw a whole new starter/solenoid in it and havent had a problem since

i'm actually having this exact same problem i'm gonna up my fc see on some ramps and inspect further i know i dont have a coolant leak but i have a slow power steering leak if i cant afford to fix the power steering leak i'm going to make a protective plastic case so it wont fry my start atleast

don't pump the gas pedal when you are trying to start a fuel injected car! Hot start problem could mean low compression, get a compressioon test done ASAP just to put your mind to rest at least. Is it flooded? Check the FAQ's about how to de-flood your car.
