starter not getting on signal
Okay. So I turn the key and nothing happens. I've checked the inhibitor on the clutch pedal and it is working properly.
The inhibitor switch has two wires. When the key is on one wire is hot. When the clutch is depressed both wires are hot.
When I checked the on wire to the starter solenoid it's not getting any power whether the clutch is depressed or not. Where does the starter solenoid get it's signal from? Would an easy fix be to just run another wire from the starter to the inhibitor switch? I've tried looking at a wiring diagram but it owns me.
I have removed the theft deterrent computer. But it has been removed for the past few months and I haven't had any problems. I remember someone saying something needed to be jumpered when removing it. But I never jumpered anything.
