start proceedure for new S5 motor

What is the proceedure for the first start of a new S5 motor? I'm guessing its different than the s4 and older because of the electric oil metering pump.

Not really. Remove the spark plugs and turn the motor over by hand to get the assembly lube out. Reinsert spark plugs w/ fuel turned off till there is oil pressure on the gauge and then start it up.

All the above plus make sure your cas/timing is spot on before cranking. The CAS should ape this picture in this url: http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/attach...&postid=143470
