paying someone who has a solid reputation to tune your car pays off, that being said the first thing you do is find what tuner in your area has that reputation, then find out what THEY like to tune with, ask them questions. They will help you with much more then just tuning, they will also advise you on set up and future support as well.
I assume he is talking absolute pressure, not gauge pressure

2 bar is only 15 punds of boost. 15 pounds is atmospheric, then the other 15 is boost. All cars are getting 15psi of pressure into the engine (give or take).

Yup, 0 lbs manifold pressure is 14.7lbs atmospheric. That's why n/a engines need a 1 bar map sensor

Aaron Cake has installed a few Megasquirts, he could probably help you out as well if you decide to go that route.

I can't really recommend the Microtech, not because it's a bad ecu, but because of their customer service.
There have been some promises made since long ago, but so far we haven't seen anything come through. They have also been un-responsive on this issue.

FWIW, my car is running great on an LT-8s. I could really use High-res maps and the ability to save to disk though.

i was just going off the boost gauge, I should know better then to talk about standalone stuff. When it came time to that part of the build I just peeled the money and had other people handle it.
