Stalling (Idle Problem) After Flooding

I have a 1989 GXL Non-Turbo. The battery went bad and in attempting to start it with the bad battery, I believe that I flooded it. followed the instructions on RX-7 Forum for getting it started again. It has new plugs and I was able to get it started. Unfortunately, now I can't keep it running. It is like the idle is set too low. If I let off of the gas it sputters some like it is trying to stay running but iw eventually will die.

Any help would be appreciated and let me also say that I am NOT seasoned at working on cars at all so lehman's terms would be helpful.

Thanks in advance!!

Did you change your oil after unflooding it? There is a chance that gasoline got into your oil. Check for any vacuum leaks also.
