stabbing cas

i just set tdc on my new rebuild and im not quite sure on how to stab the cas propperly. can someone tell me please? thanks

pull the cover off the CAS, line up the scribed dot on the gear to the embossed line in the cast aluminum housing(both are at the bottom end of the CAS) and note the position of the teeth vs sensor inside the CAS. drop the CAS in holding the shaft to keep it from spinning and keeping the alignment bolt in the middle of the adjustment slot, once the gear engages the teeth in the timing cover allow the CAS to spin slightly clockwise and tighten the adjustment bolt for the CAS up loosely in the middle of the adjustment slot.

the FSM could have told you everything you needed. should always check there first for basic stuff.
