Springs with struts

I"m getting some Monroe Sensa-Trac struts from a place around here and I was looking for springs. Noone seems to sell them around here.

I found a set on JCWhitney but I don't know if the struts will be good enough to handle the stiffer lowered springs.

Advice?

How much do u have to spend on the new struts and springs?

not that much. I'm going with those struts just for availability and need, but I haven't really found a place for springs. Know where I could get a set other than that?

Also.. Always check ebay... I got my Eibach's on Ebay.. brand new.. for 175, but it was one of those, "right place, right time" deals...

You are probably better off keeping the stock springs and buying real struts instead.

I checked those, I may just go with the full set from rx7.com for $630.

Do you know of anywhere I could get a set of just stock quality springs. I suppose they'd probably be just as expensive as the performance ones everywhere, huh?

<edit> The sad part is that this is all the result of a flat tire. Had to get new tires. $400+, alignment $60, they tell me they can't align it correctly till I get new shocks and springs, $550-640. At least this thing will handle like crazy when I'm done right?</edit>

Mark, what do you mean by real struts?

I'd love to keep the springs actually, but they are completely shot too.

It looks to me like the best deal I'm going to get will be with the rx7.com full struts and springs set.

If you want stock springs I have some for sale with low miles. I believe Mark means something of a higher quality than the moroso ones, something like tokico or kyb for struts.

oh, ok. That's what I figured.

I ended up ordering the non-adjustable set with tokico hp struts and the suspension specialties springs. It looks to be the best for the money. I should be really happy with it and best of all.. it's not that much more than buying the crappy morosos, due to the high cost of springs.

Thanks for the offer though.

Does the moderator approve of my choice? No... really... I'm wondering. I'm very respectful of Mark, I haven't ever seen him wrong.

Yeah I use the Tokicos on the back of my Vert and 10thAE.

And I make mistakes all the time... I just delete them

try ebay for some KYB agx's or Gr-2's, and eiboch pro's.. probably your best bet
