Question Springs for 88 Vert

Hey- I have seen a few 'verts with lowering springs, but everywhere I search there is a note at the bottom saying "except convertible" which is really starting to **** me off. I know my vert is heavier, but doesn't anyone make a spring that will drop me about 3/4'' and still take the extra weight?

racingbeat is working on them right now... i called them, they said the springs will be available in 1 - 2 months... id guess at the same price as their other springs

i think personaly im just gonna go with the eibach prokit springs for the turbo model and if i have a prob with them ill sell them later for the racingbeat ones... i dont wanna wait

being that the weight of the convertibles and the weight of the turbos are rather similar... i think its like 100 pounds diff or something i think it will work fine... and i have heard of other people using the eibach's and other springs that "dont work with the convertible" without any problems

I put the Racing beat springs on my 91 vert. The car had 100K on the original springs and the new one's didn't drop the car a half inch. The springs seem to be working great and it made a huge difference in the ride and handling. Side by side the racing beat springs were at least 3" taller than the old originals. Standing on each and the old ones defenatly compressed quite a bit more compared to the new ones.
