for the time being before you get it painted, if you want to make the paint look a little bit better where the spoiler was, get some rubbing compound and go to town. itll make a huge difference

wasn't gonna post, but you guys are showing no love for FCs with spoilers. but again, it's all preference, some of you guys like the spoiler, some of you don't. i like how it looks on my car, so +1 for the spoiler!

I'm torn between the two. If the car is stock (wheels, ride height, etc) I think they look rather funny with no spoiler. With a few aesthetic mods I think they look alright.
I think your car looks awesome the way it is. It's a +1 for spoilers in that pic.
Third gens have a bit of a natural lip coming off of the tail light section so they look much better without a spoiler.

if you take the spoiler off how do you patch the holes and remove the rust off of them? i actually want to do the same thing to the logo inserts on the back too but have no clue how to plug the holes, deal with rust, touch up paint etc. give me like 10 hours and i can remove a starter though lmao. that last bolt is a pos w/o an overhead lift heh.

man I love my '88 GTU spoiler, accents the rear end perfectly. I do love the TII spoilers as well aren't they taller? I don't know man, tough call with your color it seems a black spoiler and accents like what was mentioned before would look badass, take some clear pics and photoshop it

if you look reeeeally hard, you can see that i used interior carpet plugs and some rtv. lol you could even paint match them if you wanted but i was too lazy.
