Spoiler or No Spoiler

Just talking about the stock GTU spoiler, can't decide, I always look at my 7 and think it looks good with no spoiler, then when I see a 7 with one, I want one. I'll take the forum's word to make my decision.

Get one. I don't know about you but the thing I don't like about the FC is the big rear hatch glass and short rear end. A spoiler makes it complete.

I think an FC just NEEDS one.. the stock GTU spoiler is PERFECT too. I do love the S4 sport spoiler painted body color to match tho

in my opinion, it depends on your wheels. if you have nice 17 or 18 inch wheels, drop the spoiler (or, in your case, keep it off). if you dont have nice wheels, get em, not the spoiler. i have stock convertible wheels on my coupe with spoiler and i still think the car looks goofy on the 15s. the spoiler helps, but i think the car (rx7s in general) looks way more aggressive with nice wheels and no spoiler.

Its totally up to you, doesn't that help.

FCs look really sweet with and without a spoiler. Without one they look clean and all business. A spoiler does complete the back-end though, and will get the attention of your friends and girls.

^^ i agree. I have a friend who drives a 89 supra turbo and he used to have a gt wing on it . I hated it and advised him to take it off but once he did girl stopped commenting on how nice his car was. Lesson is ignorant girls like things that make the car look like it should be fast.

My friends don't have spoilers, and I do. I think they look great either way.....

....but i love my spoiler.

P.S....it makes a great place to put your gas cap when you fill up...

They look really good, without them the back of the car just kinda drops off after the hatch window.

Exactly. It helps to "complete" the rear end...

Not to highjack a thread or anything, but that red car at the bottom has that body kit and those wheels, and stock intake. What a shame.

a seven is nice already as it is... but honestly. it just kinda of look a bit naked you know. without a rear wing.. after my brotha added 89 s5 (gtu)wing on his 86 s4 (gxl), it looks sweet man.. it just has that nice look to it.. but its really up to you. as they have said up there.. with it or without.. its still a seven and still looks nice..

I really think a spoiler compliments the lines of the car. The rear kinda has a strange profile, especially from the side, without one.

I think a functional spoiler is well worth it.

modify a stock one to work maybe. i've seen pics of a stock one with slits cut so the trunk could open. i think an extra piece was also added so the middle section would have enough support.
