I used a LOT of coats. I did probably 6-7 coats of the paint and about the same with the clear. I sanded them with 220 grit before spraying them--although if I had 400 grit, I would've used that.

Right on. I've used the graphite before and it turns out really nice. I would get 4 cans of the paint and 4 cans of the clear, just to be safe. Also, start out with the inside of the wheel (if you have 'open' wheels like mine). Sand, clean and dry them really good and then spray and clear them. You don't have to be perfect on the inside (again, if you're doing it) but it's good for continuity. And just remember that masking is key.

Post some pics up if you decide to do it.
