Angry Speed Jerks (troubleshooting)

Alright 87 rx-7 NA

the car runs fine for the most part

But sometimes is im just driving it normaly and
im at like 3500 to 4000 rpm the car jerks really
bad it feels like the engine just stops(jerks forward)
then goes again (jerks back)

On a normal car i would suspect the plugs or
wires but with a rotory and since it happens
some what consistantly i think it may be the
vaccum lines?

It doesnt do it if i have the car floored
it only does it when im just cruising
or if im going slow and then pin it????

Any help please??????

and if it is the vaccum lines how the hell do i take car of it and who would i bring it to?????

Thanks

Throttle positon sensor. I had the same problem when I first starting tinkering with my 7 a couple years ago.

Look up TPS adjustment for 2nd Gen Rx7 on the web. There's several sites that give you a step-by-step on how to do it.

Adjust it, run it, adjust again, run it... fine tune that ****** till it comes into line...
