Spark Plug wires

My engines bathing in ATF right now, but a quick question.

Does it matter which wire goes to which leading sparkplug? ie, front to front, or fornt to back, or whatever? I would expect not, but since I was stupid and took them both off, I'd like to know before I put everything back together.

Since both lead spark plugs fire at the same time, why would it matter which goes where, as long as they go to the lead plugs? What basic thing am I missing here?

Firing at the same time

I thought they fired at the same time, so that it didn't matter, but just wanted to make sure.

right?

right?

Except I'm almost positive they don't fire at the same time.

So the real question I'm asking is which rotor is 1 and which is 2?

if you look on the coils there is a little L1 and L2 on the leading, and T1 and T2 on the trailing, plus both the 1's have little white dots.

so does anyone know if the 1's go to the front (left hand if you're working on the plugs) rotor or the rear (right hand) on a TurboII

thanks for your help

L1 goes to the bottom plug on the front rotor. L2 goes to the bottom plug on the rear rotor. T1 goes to the top plug on the front rotor. T2 goes to the top plug on the rear rotor. Both leads, L1 and L2 are fired by one coil. The same coil. At the same time. The trails are different. There are two coils for trail. One for T1 and one for T2. Try this http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/demystifying.html Look for the heading G and NE signals. The car will run just fine without the trail plugs being hooked up. It will also run just on trail plugs. Not as good though.
