Jeez, you thought Robby's was a back handed comment (I'll bet you meant "compliment" but whatever)?
I thought it was the very epitome of fair and balanced...a wee bit of bite balanced with some reminiscent compassion.

Be that as it may, you're right that people here DO store trivial minutia but you know how that works?
Had you decided to solve the question yourself, you could have gone out to your garage (which for the sake of this story we'll assume is arctic cold and poorly lit), fumbled around till you finally found the correct socket, then run inside and recover over hot cocoa.
The intensity, discomfort and exertion required to acquire the information serves to reinforce the memory, so even years later you can hover over internet forums and and go, "Dumbass, it's 13/16"".
This is called the School of Hard Knocks and people like Mike Ditka are graduates.

WTF does Mike Ditka have to do with this?, you may be wondering.
Well, Mike has a 9 year old grandaughter and she, like every other kid in the industrialized world, when faced with the question you posed, would have picked up their iPad and within two leaps of a search engine, would have found the answer.
This approach differs from the Ditka method in that rather than "knowing" the answer, all a kid has to know is how to "find" the answer. Data is less important than process.

The approach you took seems to lack the advantages of either method.
