sorry noob question

Okay i have been looking around for a 2nd gen with a blown motor and have found that i can get one for about 500$. Now I did and am still searching but I am having trouble finding the info that i need. Some ppl are saying that it is very difficult and expensive to swap a 13bt into a n/a 2nd gen and others are saying it is relativily easy. My father and I will being doing most if not all of the work this is a true project car b/c we both have daily drivers. I know that we would need to swap out the drivetrain. Also the 13bt when bought from these places online do they include everything ie intercooler, turbo, etc. I have been doing lots of research on this topic and just need these cleared up. I was also looking for a guesstimite in cost for swaping yourself and i mean everything not just motor. Thanks for any help and im sorry for the noob questions.

Cost depends on:

Body series and motor series (same series swaps are considerably easier and cheaper)
How much you change (how many parts are you planning on changing? The whole drive line? just the engine? are you stuck with a base or Luxury coupe or?)
and if you sell the old parts (really helps offset the cost of the conversion.

There have been people that have done the swap for $500 and up to $10,000.

I spent around $7000 for my swap into my 'vert, but I went with a lot of new or rebuilt parts (like I rebuilt the Jspec 13BT before putting it in, and I used a new FMIC and rebuilt a T2 tranny).

generally though, it is easier/cheaper to buy a T2 instead of converting a N/A to T2 standards unless you have a special car in the first place (like a Sport or Convertible) and the extra HP will really come into play. But if you have a GXL, there really is no point in the conversion, since a T2 is equipped exactly the same.

There is just one problem it is very hard to find a t2 while a gxl and other n/a's are very easy to come by around here. There was like one t2 i found in a 200 or 300 mile radius.
