Get a garage. If you have to, move to get one.

That or get a Quick release (racing?) steering wheel, and remove it whenever you leave the car. make a "trap door" somewhere in the car, and stash the wheel in there for when u goto places for long periods of time.

My dad had problems with people trying to steal our camaro (no longer among the running ) while @ the store or something.... when we first got it, some guys pulled up and started to walk to it, and my pops got out, and them f**kers took off like 2 dead beats who just stole something from K-mart.

I've noticed most alarms don't do jack sh*t. I've seen car alarms go off until they shut off on their own (lucky for them someone just triggered the sensor). I've seen some people disable a car alarm faster than the idiot with the remote could.

But thats around my place. could be different around there.

Oh, and lucky for me, if someone tries to steal anything of mine, I'll just send my uncle out to take care of them...Prison for him is a free food and a place to sleep. He's hoping next time he gets into federal, several of them have 9 hole golf courses now.

And thats why chrime rate is so damn high in this country. People feel it's a free Fing hotel.

You could always be a genius and wire up a switch that prevents current from getting to the starter which means the car will NEVER start unless that switch is thrown/on. I'm working on plans to do that now (as well as an alternator switch so that I don't use the extra power for the charging system when I'm racing or just during spirited driving). It won't cost much (won't save on insurance though), and unless they're a genius/technician/mechanic I highly doubt they know what makes a car work, so there your car is safe.
