Some pics of my progress
I installed my jspec engine in my s4 back in august. After battling fuel and ignition problems, I found that I had no compression in my front housing. So I have another engine on the way. I have a bunch more stuff waiting to go on it, but the pics show the front lip and headlight vent I installed today, my nardi wheel, custom intake, and my corksport titanium exhuast.

wow is that factory paint? Looks very nice from what I can tell. The engine bay, the interior, everything. Its nice to see a s4 in one piece these days...

hell yeah s4...
have you run it with that air filter setup yet?
you're likely going to have problems until you get that AFM level and as close to stock position as possible. at least i did. putting it at a stock angle fixed idle/running problems i had after my cone filter install.
good job on the heat shielding too, might wanna add some weather stripping. i plan on a similar setup once it gets hot again and is actually worth it. was it a kit or just templated and fabbed up by yourself?

lol i thought it was a 91 coupe cuz of the s5 tail lights and rims, but for me it was the moldings and Factory guages that gave it away

Thanks guys for all your replys.
Yes, it's factory paint. The chassis only has 60k on it.
I have not run it with the filter set up. I figured I might have a problem with the afm, but I am no longer going to need to worry about it, I am going standalone.
I am doing a v-mount. I have my hood off for 2 reasons. 1, easier access to pull the engine out again, and 2, I am putting gills on the hood for the v-mount (like koguchi's 180sx).
The lip is from Shine Auto Project. Their all over ebay and have an account on here as well.

You have any problems with those MR pulleys? When I had them a couple years ago my alt would not work right at idle.
Some claim to get no HP increase shown on the dyno with those.

damn I like the car! I really like the silver paint and am really strongly thinking about painting my hole car silver because with a black engine pay I think it would still look good and just because silver looks awesome! Lip looks good as well! Good luck with your setup.

when I first got the car, I hated silver, but it grew on me. I love the silver w/black accents. I just wish I had the black interior. But I guess that blue is better than red, so...

Well, kd rotary has 2 jdm engines in stock. I am actually going to call them right now to see how it is going. They were going to tear them down and see if they were usable cores.
