Youve got it all wrong. S5 rotors are better. They have a 9.0:1 instead of 8.5:1
Also, s5 rotors are about 1/2 lb lighter than s4 rotors. Another interesting thing is that s4 rotors are cast, s5 rotors are machined. Look at the surfaces if you have have them out compared to s4.
Higher compression ratio=more power.
lighter rotors= quicker spool

my reaction time was like 1.6 or something
i was waiting for green, then running.

I lost to more cars than I beat... BUT, a FRESH stock TII will beat most of the cars I lost to. The last race in that car was against an SVT Focus.. It was pretty even but he got the better jump, so...
My N/A beat most of my friends cars that I lost to originally in my TII.
My TII's almost done with fresh rebuild, streetport, TB and manifold porting, exhaust, intake and ^boost. The 7 won't lose... lol.

And he also said his car was not running right either...but a loss to a SCT Focus would make me very Angry as well.

Respecognize!
i am hoping to see a big difference between my stock N/A auto and my soon to be running mediumly modded TII. There damn well better be a difference or someone is dying!

Example, stock vs. stock both in good condition both manual a GSL-SE and an SVT Focus have the exact same 1/4 mile times and the GSL-SE has a 0.1 second faster 0-60. So essentially with equal drivers and both stock and both manual it should be pretty even.
That being said, unless something was SERIOUSLY wrong with the TII, I'm sure the SVT Focus wasn't stock.

yeah a T2 should spank a stock SVT Focus....if I am not mistaking they make like 170hp right? And the S5 T2 is obviously making 200HP and there is a difference in the pull of N/A horsepower and turbo power on the straights.

Let's get silly...

I bought my TII S5 with 97k miles about 3 months ago with only a cone intake filter and drove it for a month before starting the full tear down. Now I have no Idea what the rotors were at for compression. The turbo seemed noisy but did provide good boost.
I have no numbers but I can tell you it is appreciably faster than my S5 n/a with 100psi compression consistant on all faces, yet it was noticably slower than the WRX (non-STI) I drove at the subaru dealership a few months back.
My guess is my TII S5 motor was pretty tired. Still alot of fun to drive though!!!
