So I spend the morning doing the TPS adjustment...

And it STILL won't idle for ****.

The TPS readings were all fine... 1k at closed throttle, 4.30 at WOT. What the hell???

I'm buying an engine from BNR, but that is two months away... I want the damn thing to run right until then. Any ideas?

Have you checked your BAC to see if it's good?

Some people are reporting that fixing the BAC's ECU transistor has rectified their idle probs...

Just a thought.

Have you checked for engine codes yet?

Standard stuff. Vacuum leaks, fouled plugs, BAC valve. Try searching for "idle problems".

*****And it STILL won't idle for ************

What are the characteristics of *won't idle for ****?*

1. Idles real low and bumpy???
2. Dies at idle???
3. Rocks and rolls at idle?
4. Is the idle/non idle below 750rpm?
5. Do you know where to buy Starter Fluid?
6. Do you know that rotors with unequal compression will cause an erratic idle?
7. Are you familiar with the variable resistor? 88 and under cars.
8. What happens at idle when you insert the Initial Set Jumper???
9. What happens when adjusting the bac screw?
10. You know that the inlet duct from the afm to the turbo likes to develop a crack where it joins at the turbo? Under the clamp?
11. You know that if the antiafterburn diaphram/valve/poppet in the acv deteriorates, that it WILL let unauthorized air into the inlet and screw up the idle?
12. You know about: http://www.iluvmyrx7.com

It "idles" at 1300 rpm, then dies. It's almost like fuel starvation, however, it runs rich. I changed the plugs at the same time, which seems to handle my "won't restart when hot" problem. I have no idea what/where the antiafterburn diaphram is. Any other help?

Pull the plug off the bac when the car is *idling* and tell us if the idle changed.
We KNOW that you have already checked the throttle cables for some slack, right. So pull the bac plug off and tell us what happened if anything.;
