so confused pros please.
ive already asked people on here whats going on with my 87T2. it idles rough. engine runs strong pulls hard no problem there. if i use any power the idle gets even worse. the car wont even let me adjust the idle on the idle screw.i think thats the idle screw. even trying to put up my window will efect the idle while i am parked in neutral as if the car is going to shut off. what the hell is going on. my car only has 50k miles on it. shes mint and i want to keep her that way.if i go for a drive and try to start it right away it will start. but if i let my car sit nothing works. not even the radio. its like i lose all electrical power.when i was at talarico they said that the wire connected to my coil over was not putting out power. they pulled the wire off there was plenty of spark. and they replaced that spark plug as part of the testing.but they didnt have the tool to finish the testing so i have to bring my car back. he inspected the wire and the wire was also fine. somethings screwed.im puzzled. even thought it idles rough and all when i get on the car it feels its never lost its power. strange

Mods?
Have you removed your emissions equipment? Any of that being old can **** up your idle.
Since you have a Turbo, you don't have a voltmeter, but tell me: do the lights dim when you do the stuff you mention? eg. rolling up your windows? sounds like your alternator might be bad, or not tightened.

check for vacuum leaks, reset your tps, make sure your alternator belt is tight, and maybe remove your emissions. that should do the trick. (if it still acts funny then your alt. might be bad.)

vacuum leaks: take some starter fluid/carb cleaner/equivalent and spray it all around the vacuum hoses in the engine bay (with the car idling). If you have any vacuum leaks, the engine will suck up the starter fluid and the rpms will jump up for a little bit.

It sounds to me like it's possibly a bad alternator if the problem is only at idle and low rpm.
1) Check your battery cables to make sure they are attached snugly to the battery terminals.
2) Check your alternator belt. If you don't know which one that is, check them all. The correct deflection is listed in the Factory Service Manual that is free here:
http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/
3) If you have one of those retarded aftermarket reduction pullies, take it off and put the stock pulley back on.
4) Take your car to Autozone or Checker Auto Parts for a FREE diagnostic check of your battery and alternator, and maybe your voltage regulator.

It's the alternator regulator or your alternator itself, i had the same problem with the lights when i steped on the brake pedal, also had a very shitty idle too, although my car is na i don't know if that makes a difference in the electrical, take your alt to autozone for a test.

if its a vacuum leak how would that effect my car from starting. like i said "if i go for a drive and try to start it right away it will start. but if i let my car sit nothing works. not even the radio. its like i lose all electrical power."i might have enough power to turn on mylights but there dim but the radio still wont come on until i get the car started.

let me get this straight, when you start your car everything works? how many volts marks your voltage gauge w/o steping on the brakes and how many with the brakes steped?

I would say check your alternator because its free and easy!!!! After that either works or doesn't come back and tell us what happend. Mine has a really crapy idle right now and I have no Idea what it is so whatever you find out I'm going to do the same thing But yeah try the alternator (I'm cheap!)

Alternator, battery, fix that, then if you've still got the bouncing idle, check for vac leaks all over the place, fix any if you find them, if it's still there afterwards, adjust TPS.
