You do realize that that company is NOT in the USA?
By the time you pay for shipping and customs, it's going to end up closer to $1,000...

$100 eBay FMIC core
$100 eBay intercooler piping kit
$100 GReddy TB adapter

How much cheaper can you get???

Fab up the brackets to mount the intercooler...

If you wanna keep the BAC valve for idle, then you need to fab a fitting.

Don't forget the BOV...

Ted,

Do you think the package you specified would make more sense than getting a dented up TII hood fixed and painted up or buying a CF hood? I'm putting the TII into the vert next weekend and the hood problem is the last major task to overcome.

Thanks,

Jim

You really should start your own thread...

The problem with going with an FMIC is that in entails a lot of other mods / costs that just adds to the spending.
On top of everything else I mentioned, you really need to have an upgrade radiator installed.
With the FMIC mounted up front (before the radiator), the cooling system is going to get stressed.
Luckily, the AFCO Racing units we use (80125N) is priced under $250 - but you need to do some fabbing and cutting to get it to fit.
Also, the battery needs to be relocated if you're using a rad as big as this - 26" wide by 19" tall.

So, this "cheap" FMIC ends up ultimately costing several hundred dollars!
In the end, it is the right way to do this, but this is, by no means, "cheap".

Out of curiosity, what do you have to do to fab an FMIC kit that lets you keep your AC and doesn't have horrible air flow to the radiator, oil cooler, and condenser?

Ever tried to order something that costs that much money and ship it into the USA?
It's called a customs declaration form, and don't be surprised you get stuck with another bill once it's landed in the USA...
You should try it sometime...

It's called "eBay".
They have universal intercooler pipes kits all over the damn place.
If you can cut and measure bent pipes, then this is all you need.
They come with silicone couplers too - some even have clamps.
