TX Smoking

Every time I drive I've got this thin white smoke coming through all my vents and when I stop it gets progressively worse and begins coming in from the shifter. If anyone knows what this please help me, thanks in advance.

Do you have any oil in your transmission?

As far as I know yes, but I'm going to get some put in today. But I'm still not sure about the smoke coming all of my air vents.

If you pop the hood do you see smoke? Its gotta be comming from someplace and there isn't anything in the vents to smoke, unless its on fire lol.

Start the car in your driveway, pop the hood, wait till it starts smoking, you gotta be able to see it in the engine compartment or under the car. If its that bad while driving, I dunno how you can't find it.

Maybe a crack in your exhaust manifold letting gases in? Or hell, maybe it is on fire!

I just found the break between the y pipe and the rest of the exhaust. It's about half an inch across. Freaking ridiculous.

Now you just have to figure out why you are burning so much oil, or coolant, or gas.... whatever is making it smoke.

You might not want to drive the car with that much exhaust entering... That may cause you to take an eternal sleep

How is the smoke getting into the vents from a crack in the Y-pipe? Not even near the vents.
You Sure its not the motor smokin? White smoke is usually coolant. Which shouldn't be in the exhaust.

Sorry I'm stupid, not the y pipe, at the cat, and from the headers. Basically very part that needs a gasket I'm leaking from.

All my gaskets are leaking, no smoke. Something is leaking into the exhaust I would think. Which is not good. And being white, coolant into exhaust = uh oh.

Yea now I think something is leaking into the exhaist. I sealed off the exhast leaks but when I look under the car after driving there's smoke coming from the exhaust. And my heater core just started pissing coolant into the car, but that's only happened once, it hasn't happened again?

It'll probably happen again. Something like that isn't just going to fix itself.

I'm thinking about just routing the two hoses together so they don't flow over the core. Is this a bad idea?
