smoking 86
smoke cloud puffs out of pipe. like its burning gas, also heard 86 injecters leak when vehicles off... smoke only comes out at around 6-7t rpm. maybe apex seals??? 166,886 mi. on motor..

Not likely apex seals.... rotor oil rings more likely.
if it was the apex or the side seals, your idle would be **** and it would run like ***!!
Time for a rebuild.. but i've seen N/A's run like that for a good while before puking... problem is, the longer you delay, the more likely a REALLY bad thing could happen and waste the motor.
Make sure you change your oil about ever 1500 miles. as the oils viscosity breaks down from heat and friction (lots of those in a 13b) it will actually get thinner and the car will smoke more.
