Smoking

My Turbo II smokes a lot ofter a full throttle run up to redline. If I hold it at redline for a second or 2 and then shift I create an instant smokescreen. Should I suspect my engine seals? It started doing this last summer and I thought it was my turbo seals, so I had the turbo rebuilt/upgraded, and it hadn't been doing it lately, but started again today the other day. Is there any way to check the engine seals without taking it out and apart?

oil control rings are going out. Just keep driving it until you can afford to rebuild the motor.

Thanks Seth. Am I correct in assuming that it's going to smoke worse as I put more miles on the car?

Ed,

I have also had this problem and it will only get worse. cheap trick is to remove oil filler cap which reduces crankcase pressures.
